We’re Cesar and Lauren, along with our three little explorers—August, Sebastian, and Juniper. Together, we created The Backyard Club to encourage families to slow down, step outside, and connect with each other in God’s creation!

Our mission is to help families find joy in simple moments together—whether that’s building campfires, collecting leaves, or soaking in the sunshine. Through hand-drawn freebies, playful prompts, and adventurous challenges, we’re here to remind you that connection doesn’t require perfection—just presence.

We’re not a formal club—just a group of like-minded friends who believe that adventure doesn’t need to be far away or fancy! The Backyard Club is all about connecting with each other in creation—no pressure, no perfection, just a love for the sun-soaked afternoons and simple moments together.
